Location: San Antonio, Texas

Start Date: 08-06-2026

End Date: 11-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with rotating call (one night per week and one weekend per 5 weeks)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and other surgical procedures
Prepare and maintain the sterile field and surgical equipment
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures
Ensure proper handling and disposal of specimens
Participate in rotating call coverage for nights and weekends
Collaborate with the OR team to provide optimal patient care

Qualifications

Must have OR circulator experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to fulfill rotating call (one night per week minimum, one weekend per 5 weeks minimum)
Flexible, caring, compassionate, and willing attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Experience in orthopedics, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic surgeries
Proficiency with Meditech EMR
Knowledge of basic OR equipment (cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy, positioning equipment)
