Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff
Support mobility, transfers, and safe positioning with proper techniques
Assist with hygiene, feeding, and bedside comfort while preserving dignity
Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with the care team to ensure individualized resident plans are followed

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Current state CNA registration or ability to obtain New Mexico CNA credentials
Basic life support/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (patient transfers, standing, walking)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with activities of daily living (ADL) assistance
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Ability to observe, record, and communicate resident changes effectively
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Basic charting and documentation skills
