Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with ADLs like bathing, dressing and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Document patient observations in a clear, timely manner and communicate effectively with the team
Support patients emotionally by listening, comforting and advocating for their needs

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass a background check and required immunizations
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and standard precautions
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Charting and basic electronic health record familiarity
Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork
