Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess pediatric patients for speech, language, and swallowing needs using evidence-based methods
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address functional goals and family priorities
• Deliver engaging, child-friendly therapy sessions that promote communication and participation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and educators to coordinate care
• Document clinical progress in the medical record clearly and timely
• Provide family education and coaching to support carryover of skills at home

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• State licensure in Missouri or eligibility to obtain licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or in progress
• Comfort working with pediatric populations and multidisciplinary teams
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in speech, language, and swallowing assessment and intervention for children
• Strong family-centered communication and coaching skills
• Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and disorders
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies to each child s needs and interests
• Team player mindset with good time management and organizational abilities
