Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients with professionalism and heart
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop timely, patient-centered care plans
Administer medications accurately and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
Document care clearly and promptly in the patient record to support continuity
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating appropriately

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (or appropriate multi-state authorization)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS may be preferred or supported
Clinical experience or strong interest in Medical-Surgical nursing
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; diploma considered

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and best practices
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Patient assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making skills
Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Effective teamwork, time management, and prioritization under busy conditions
