Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients, creating a welcoming first impression
Take and record vital signs and basic clinical measurements accurately
Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure smooth clinic flow
Assist providers during exams and minor procedures with confidence
Document patient interactions and update the electronic health record
Communicate with patients about next steps, follow-ups, and scheduling

Qualifications

Completed Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical training preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
Previous clinical or ambulatory care experience is a plus
Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-centered attitude
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient intake and basic clinical assessment skills
Familiarity with infection control practices and clinical safety
Comfortable using electronic health record systems
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient setting
