Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges to ensure smooth patient flow
• Support infection control and safety protocols to maintain a healthy environment
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain one
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Orientation is required and will be provided
• Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) from an accredited program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and basic nursing care skills
• Medication administration and charting
• Familiarity with hospital documentation and electronic health records
• Infection control practices and patient safety standards
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently during busy shifts
• Compassionate bedside manner and clear communication with patients and families
