Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Take and record vital signs and report any changes promptly
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided
Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care
Maintain infection control standards and a clean care environment
Participate in trainings and contribute to a positive workplace culture

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania) or eligibility to obtain state certification
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility needs
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting is a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and monitoring
Infection prevention and control practices
Vital signs assessment and documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
