Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with the facility) - LPN shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as an LPN, keeping safety and dignity front and center
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the care team to support patient care plans
Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to ensure timely interventions
Support admissions, discharges and transitions of care with attention to detail
Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and helping maintain a safe, organized environment

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Georgia (or compact license if applicable) — must be active and in good standing
Recent clinical experience as an LPN preferred; experience in acute care or long-term care is a plus
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Comfortable with electronic charting and following facility policies

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing or LPN program
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Solid fundamentals in medication administration and wound care
Patient assessment and the ability to recognize changes in condition
Time management for managing multiple patients during a 12.5-hour shift
Professional, calm bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
