Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days to be assigned; orientation included)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, timely emergency care to patients of all ages
Triage and rapidly assess patient conditions to prioritize lifesaving interventions
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with the ED team, physicians, and support staff to coordinate care
Document patient care thoroughly and communicate changes clearly
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high clinical standards
Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring dignity and respect

Qualifications

Current RN license (eligible to practice in New Hampshire) - required
Recent ED/ER nursing experience and comfort in fast-paced environments
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency assessment and triage practices
IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency interventions
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
Ability to manage multiple critical patients and coordinate care efficiently
Calm, decisive problem-solving and clear communication under stress
