Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with care and accuracy
Operate and maintain imaging equipment following safety standards
Position patients and prepare them for procedures while ensuring comfort
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and best practices
Capture high-quality images and ensure accurate documentation in the record
Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

Valid Louisiana radiologic technologist license or ability to obtain state licensure
ARRT certification or registry-eligible preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Previous experience as a Rad Tech preferred
Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent education and training

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in radiographic techniques and patient positioning
Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging systems
Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices
Ability to document procedures accurately and maintain patient records
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
