Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patient condition, using strong clinical judgment to prioritize care
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient-centered care
Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately and promptly
Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge planning
Participate in orientation and contribute to a learning-focused environment

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state of practice required)
Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing (Med/Surg)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; advanced certifications welcomed
Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and supporting continuity of care
Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and commitment to patient safety
Willingness to complete facility orientation as required

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and post-op care
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Patient assessment and care planning skills
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
Ability to prioritize, triage and respond in a fast-paced clinical setting
Compassionate patient and family education skills
