Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on a medical-surgical unit
Assess patients regularly and communicate changes to the care team promptly
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to create effective care plans
Document clinical observations and interventions clearly and timely
Support patients and families with education, compassion, and clear communication

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) — listed as primary requirement
Experience in Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing — core skill for this role
Comfort and ability to work 12-hour shift schedules as indicated in the posting

Knowledge & Skills

Medical-Surgical nursing practices and standards
Clinical assessment and basic patient monitoring skills
Medication administration and documentation expectations
Effective communication and teamwork on a multidisciplinary unit
