Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered medical-surgical nursing care
Perform thorough assessments and document patient status clearly
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition in a timely manner
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Participate in unit initiatives to improve quality and patient safety

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential
Experience in Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts as scheduled
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Medical-Surgical nursing practices and patient care
Clinical assessment and monitoring
Accurate documentation and charting
Safe medication administration and basic clinical procedures
