Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and specific days to be confirmed with the facility) - RN ED/ER coverage

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
Quickly assess and triage patients to prioritize lifesaving interventions
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record
Respond calmly and efficiently in high-acuity and fast-paced situations
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or a valid compact RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred or willing to obtain
Experience in Emergency Department (ED) nursing preferred
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment
IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care
Familiarity with common ED procedures and equipment
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation skills
Crisis management, de-escalation, and patient/family communication
