Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the ACT team by providing clinical supervision and unwavering support to clinicians
• Drive collaborative treatment between primary care and mental health providers for transformative client outcomes
• Deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based care using evidence-based interventions like EMDR, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing
• Conduct screenings, crisis interventions, and short-term therapy while creating personalized treatment plans
• Foster communication and consensus across Outpatient Clinic teams to deliver ethical, effective services
• Monitor program services, supervise clinicians, manage timekeeping, and attend key interdepartmental meetings

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services related field like social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology
• 5 years clinical experience in relevant settings with proficiency in assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning
• Completed clinical practicum as part of Master’s program
• State of Alaska licensure as LCSW or LPC within 6 months of hire
• Prefer 3 years sobriety if in recovery
• Clinical supervisory experience a plus

Education

• Master’s degree in human services related field (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology)

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Cultural sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, values, and attitudes
• Team collaboration and ability to build consensus while motivating change
• Quick rapport-building with wide range of people
• Proficiency in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing
• Basic computer knowledge and standard office equipment use
