Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform all routine CT exams for ED, inpatient and outpatient populations with precision and care
• Provide trauma imaging support during high-acuity situations and collaborate closely with radiologists on site
• Operate and maintain GE REV CT and GE REV HD scanners safely and efficiently
• Support interventional procedures including biopsy/drain and cryo/microwave ablations as required
• Start IVs for outpatient studies when needed and ensure excellent patient comfort and safety
• Document exams accurately in EPIC and manage image workflow to SECTRA PACS
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure proper use of radiation badge and monitoring

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required — verification expected with submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Radiation badge required prior to starting this travel assignment
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (trauma imaging experience strongly preferred)
• Experience with GE CT platforms (GE REV CT / GE REV HD) highly desirable
• Comfortable using EPIC and SECTRA PACS; Windows-based systems experience helpful
• IV insertion skills for outpatient workflow and interventional support
• Willingness to work night 4x10 schedule and participate in weekend/holiday coverage as scheduled

• Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and trauma protocols
• Cardiac CT, biopsy/drain procedures, cryo/microwave ablations
• PACS (SECTRA) workflow and image routing
• EPIC charting and documentation
• Operation of GE REV CT and GE REV HD scanners
• Radiation safety practices and badge monitoring
• IV insertion and patient preparation skills
• X-ray (ED/Inpatient/Outpatient) cross-coverage when needed
