Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams safely and accurately, delivering excellent patient care from start to finish
• Utilize the PACS system correctly to manage images and support efficient radiology workflow
• Verify scan protocols with the radiologist to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Administer and manage IV contrast according to competency standards and facility protocols
• Assist with clerical and office duties to maintain department efficiency and patient flow
• Maintain IV/contrast competency and stay current with department policies and safety practices

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Radiology/MR required
• IEMA Licensure required for Illinois practice
• Current CPR certification required
• Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent certification
• Technical MRI experience; 1 year preferred
• Comfortable using PACS and performing scan protocol verification
• Demonstrated ability to perform clerical duties and communicate clearly with the care team

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiology or Certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in MRI imaging techniques and safety practices
• Familiarity with PACS workflows and image management
• Experience with IV contrast administration and monitoring
• Knowledge of radiology procedures and scan protocol verification
• Strong patient care skills and clear clinical communication
• Basic clerical and departmental organization skills
