Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized outpatient treatment plans that promote recovery and independence
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions and hands-on care to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the clinic’s EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
• Maintain clinical standards and adhere to facility policies to ensure safe, quality care

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska Physical Therapy license (required)
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (required)
• Experience in outpatient therapy preferred
• Travel healthcare experience is a plus and shows you can adapt quickly
• Ability to start quickly to meet the client’s urgent need

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical reasoning skills in an outpatient setting
• Expertise in therapeutic modalities, exercise prescription, and manual therapy techniques
• Excellent patient communication and education abilities
• Proficient documentation skills and comfort using electronic health records
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
