Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for cardiac and medical-surgical patients on night shift
• Monitor telemetry continuously, recognize rhythm changes, and act promptly
• Float between Cardiac Care (4:1) and Med-Surg (5:1) units while maintaining safe patient assignments
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to patient needs, alarms, and rapid changes with calm, clinical decision-making

Qualifications

• Current California RN license (required)
• Demonstrated Cardiac Care experience (required)
• Telemetry and Med-Surg nursing experience
• Epic experience (required) for documentation and charting
• Willingness to work night shifts and float between units; every-other-weekend availability

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong med-surg assessment and clinical judgement
• Comfortable using Epic for charting and care coordination
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, bedside-focused environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary care
