Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality X-ray and radiographic exams for patients across the main hospital and Outpatient Imaging
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment safely and in accordance with state permits and facility protocols
• Chart accurately and efficiently in EPIC EMR to ensure clear patient records and continuity of care
• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed patient positioning and care in a Level II trauma facility
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain equipment and supply readiness
• Collaborate with nursing and ancillary teams to support emergent and routine imaging needs

Qualifications

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services (required)
• Current CPR Certification (required)
• Fluoroscopy permit (required)
• Experience with EPIC EMR charting (required)
• At least 2 years of acute care experience (desired)
• Previous successful completion of travel assignments (preferred)
• Willingness to float between Outpatient Imaging and the main hospital; comfortable working in a Level II trauma environment

Education

• Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in X-ray imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Fluoroscopy operation and safety practices
• Strong familiarity with EPIC EMR workflows and documentation
• Trauma imaging protocols and emergency department collaboration
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Ability to manage a fast-paced imaging caseload with attention to detail
