Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and self-care
• Maintain a safe environment and follow infection control best practices
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential — California licensure preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
• Comfortable working per-diem/day-shift assignments with a flexible mindset
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient-focused attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and prioritization
• Proficient in medication administration and IV care
• Solid documentation practices and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems and clinical workflows
