Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report patient status and any changes to nursing staff to ensure safe, timely care
Assist with feeding, toileting, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
Support safe patient transfers and ambulation while following facility protocols
Maintain a clean, organized environment and adhere to infection control procedures
Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California
Active CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain, if required)
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care and work as part of a team
Valid, up-to-date immunizations and background checks as required by facility
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; dependable and punctual

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completed CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and safety practices
Patient lifting/transfer assistance and use of assistive devices
Infection control and standard precautions
Observation and reporting of patient changes
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
