Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic exams, including portable X-rays and fluoroscopy, ensuring patient safety and image accuracy
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and assist with C-arm procedures and intraoperative imaging when needed
• Provide compassionate patient care, including positioning, shielding, and clear communication throughout each exam
• Document exams and chart thoroughly in EPIC to maintain complete and accurate patient records
• Support the OR team when required, following sterile technique and OR protocols during procedures
• Participate in call and holiday rotations, responding professionally and promptly when on-call
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to deliver coordinated care and timely imaging results

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiography experience as specified
• Proven experience with portable X-ray and fluoro; C-arm and OR experience highly desired
• Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred
• Willingness to participate in call and holiday rotation
• Cannot have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity within the past year

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging principles
• Skilled with portable imaging workflows and patient transport
• Experience operating fluoroscopy units and C-arm technology
• Comfortable working in acute care and OR settings
• Proficient documentation skills, especially within EPIC
• Excellent patient communication and teamwork abilities
