Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric outpatients using evidence-based pediatric PT techniques
• Develop individualized treatment plans addressing developmental delay, autism, torticollis, orthopedics and more
• Deliver compassionate family-centered care and educate caregivers on home programs
• Provide warm water/hydrotherapy treatments when appropriate
• Document thoroughly and timely in EPIC to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team and supervise PTA/rehab aides as needed
• Participate in orientation and ongoing unit initiatives to enhance pediatric services

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Physical Therapy license (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Minimum ~2 years of clinical PT experience preferred (pediatric experience a strong plus)
• Comfort working primarily in outpatient pediatric settings with occasional inpatient acute support
• Ability to travel within a 60-mile radius and provide a valid driver’s license as required for hire
• Strong documentation skills and experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Comfort working with hydrotherapy/warm water pools is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric physical therapy principles and patient evaluation
• Outpatient treatment planning and family education
• Experience with developmental delays, autism spectrum conditions, torticollis, and pediatric orthopedics
• Hydrotherapy/warm water therapy familiarity
• Proficient documentation and charting in EPIC
• Time management and self-scheduling within a blocked schedule format
• Collaborative communication with multidisciplinary teams
