Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Support residents with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Assist with feeding, hygiene, and toileting while preserving dignity
Document care accurately and timely in the resident record
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care
Help maintain a clean, safe environment for residents

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB test per facility policy
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and handling physical aspects of care
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, ambulation support
Strong observational skills and ability to report changes clearly
Patient-centered approach with respect for privacy and dignity
Teamwork and collaboration with nursing staff and therapists
Time management and reliable documentation habits
