Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts (includes weekdays and weekends). Examples of scheduled shift times include Day shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM; Night shifts: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Typically scheduled with every 3rd–4th weekend rotation; call and holiday coverage as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray exams accurately and compassionately, prioritizing patient safety and image quality
• Operate and maintain Siemens 128-slice CT, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC c-arm and Hologic Mini-C with confidence
• Assist with CTA/stroke protocols and trauma imaging in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Support orthopedic imaging and procedures performed at the nearby clinic
• Provide intraoperative imaging support using C-arm for emergent surgical cases when needed
• Prepare patients for imaging, including positioning, radiation safety, and clear communication about procedure steps
• Document imaging and patient care in EPIC and manage studies in McKesson PACS accurately
• Step in for radiology injections and biopsy assistance with provided training, ensuring sterile technique and team coordination

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) registration required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT - CT preferred
• Minimum 1 year of CT/X-ray experience (acute care/trauma experience a plus)
• Comfortable operating Siemens and GE imaging equipment and working with McKesson PACS and EPIC
• Able to float to assist with injections/biopsies after training
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and occasional call/holiday coverage
• Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and ability to thrive in a busy ER/clinic environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid CT imaging knowledge and CT protocol experience (including CTA/stroke imaging)
• Proficiency with X-ray techniques and orthopedic imaging
• Experience with PACS workflows (McKesson) and EPIC charting
• Familiarity with Siemens 128-slice CT and other Siemens imaging platforms
• Hands-on experience with GE OEC C-arm and Hologic Mini-C
• Ability to assist with biopsies and radiology injections (training provided)
• Strong patient positioning, radiation safety, and sterile technique skills
• Calm, clear communication under pressure during trauma and emergent cases
