Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
Perform thorough assessments and timely interventions for assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and oncoming staff
Maintain accurate, timely EMR charting and clinical documentation
Respond to urgent situations calmly and escalate concerns appropriately
Support a positive patient and family experience through compassionate care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse credential (RN) required
Valid California RN license or eligibility to obtain one
Current BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS as applicable preferred
Comfortable with overnight clinical responsibilities and triage
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently during night shifts

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Completed nursing program and active RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical decision making
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Proficient documentation and electronic medical record usage
Infection prevention and safety best practices
Clear verbal and written communication with patients and teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize in high-paced situations
