Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily needs
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
• Support safe mobility and assist with transfers and ambulation
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document care clearly and follow care plans and facility protocols
• Support families and provide patient-centered, respectful care

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to work per-diem shifts and adapt to varying schedules
• Pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living and basic patient care
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Clear communication and teamwork in fast-paced healthcare settings
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
