Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for patients from newborns to geriatrics, with the primary focus on adult care
• Perform common primary care procedures and occasional circumcisions when needed
• Manage a patient panel of approximately 17-20 patients per day with compassionate, efficient care
• Document encounters accurately in eClinicalWorks and collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Coordinate care with nursing and support staff, referring as needed and supporting clinic workflows
• Deliver consistent coverage and continuity of care across scheduled shifts to meet community needs

Qualifications

• Physician credentialed to practice (MD or DO) or eligible for Oregon licensure
• Comfort and experience providing primary care across the lifespan, primarily adults and occasional teens
• Experience performing primary care procedures; circumcision experience is a plus
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or willingness to quickly adopt the EMR
• Ability to provide consistent Tuesday-Friday coverage for the duration of the assignment
• Completed credentialing requirements and appropriate malpractice coverage for the assignment

Education

• MD or DO (or equivalent medical degree) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid primary care clinical judgment and outpatient management skills
• Procedure skills relevant to primary care, including minor procedures and potential circumcisions
• Proficient clinical documentation and charting in eClinicalWorks
• Strong communication and teamwork with MA, RN, and front-desk staff
• Time management to support a busy clinic schedule of ~17-20 patients/day
