Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
Provide speech therapy services in a compassionate and effective manner

Qualifications

Active California SLP license required
2 years of experience in Speech Language Pathology
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Willingness to float to Mercy Medical Center Redding if needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical knowledge of speech and language disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient-focused care approach
Experience with electronic medical records and documentation
