Location: Tacoma, WA

Start Date: 06-16-2026

End Date: 09-15-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekends and holidays, and limited call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures
Start IVs as needed for contrast and radiopharmaceutical administration
Utilize EPIC and PACS systems for documentation and image management
Operate GE and Phillips equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate results
Provide excellent patient care and education throughout procedures

Qualifications

Current BLS certification
Washington State license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
ARRT-N or NMTCB certification
At least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine
Proficiency in starting IVs and performing various imaging studies
Familiarity with EPIC and PACS systems preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety protocols
Skilled in operating GE and Phillips equipment
Ability to interpret and analyze images
Strong patient communication and care skills
Proficiency in EPIC and PACS systems
