Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days and nights rotating, schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance, weekends 6-9 shifts per 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and more
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 3, ensuring continuity of care
Titrate heparin drips as ordered and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit environments, from MS-Tele to specialty units

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience required
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius zone

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for managing telemetry patients
Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips (e.g., heparin)
Excellent communication and adaptability for floating across facilities
Familiarity with electronic health records and patient monitoring systems
