Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality PET/CT scans to aid in accurate diagnoses
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as ordered
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for optimal performance
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver excellent care
- Document patient history and procedure details accurately
Qualifications
- Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
- Valid California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of PET/CT experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in PET/CT imaging protocols and safety standards
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling and administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Technical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
