Registered Nurse - Oncology PCU
Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, self-schedule
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medications
- Monitor hemodynamic status and titrate drips as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
- Float to med/surg and PCU units as assigned
- Ensure hourly rounding and patient satisfaction
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent PCU and oncology experience (first-time travelers welcome!)
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- ONS/ONCC and Chemotherapy Certification required
- Charge nurse experience preferred (1 year minimum)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
- Experience with Alaris IV pumps, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and oncology protocols
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
