Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and process dental X-rays with precision
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care instructions
- Manage patient records and schedule follow-up appointments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state-specific license preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Radiography certification and experience with digital X-rays
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental software and charting systems
- Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
- Strong interpersonal skills to put patients at ease
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
