Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Location: Frisco, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekend and holiday rotations, on-call as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality vascular and general ultrasound exams including abdomen, liver, renal, thyroid, AAA, breast, and carotid duplex studies
Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and position them correctly to obtain optimal images
Operate GE and Philips ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings and techniques as needed
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely results
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EPIC and Synapse PACS

Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) with RDMS or RVT certification preferred
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Strong vascular ultrasound experience required
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to take on-call shifts as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in GE and Philips ultrasound systems
Experience with EPIC and Synapse PACS
Expertise in vascular imaging techniques
Excellent patient communication and care skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
