Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide holistic nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units
Monitor cardiac rhythms, titrate heparin drips, and manage patients with diverse diagnoses
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1, adapting quickly to different unit cultures and patient populations
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele nursing experience required
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience preferred
Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Experience with heparin titration and cardiac drips
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:5-6 based on acuity
Excellent communication and adaptability in a fast-paced float pool environment
