Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-16-2026

End Date: 09-15-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7 days on, 7 days off; Thursday through Wednesday, 6:30 PM - 6:00 AM (Sunday-Wednesday start at 7:30 PM). Overnight shifts.

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT, X-ray, and limited MRI exams for a Level II trauma center
Collaborate with neurosurgeons to provide imaging for heads and spines
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Adhere to infection control policies, including artificial nail prohibition

Qualifications

Certification in CT and X-ray (required)
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (if no MRI certification)
Active driver's license for verification of 50-mile radius
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced trauma environment
Comfortable with overnight shifts and 7-day stretches

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CT and X-ray imaging techniques
Proficiency in MRI for head and spine studies (preferred)
Strong patient communication and care skills
Ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams
Detail-oriented with focus on image quality and safety
