Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit
Monitor and titrate cardiac and seizure medications, including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure meds
Manage patients with cardiac, neurological, renal, and stroke conditions
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication skills to support team success

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submittal (to verify 50-mile radius rule)
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in titrating drips and monitoring continuous EEG
Adaptability to fast-paced environments
