Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine procedures using PET/CT and SPECT imaging equipment
Operate Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT and Siemens E.CAMs to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging protocols
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure radiation safety compliance
Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients during exams

Qualifications

Current BLS certification (required)
PET/CT experience (required)
DOT certification preferred (required for extension within 90 days)
Valid driver's license for mileage determination
Ability to comply with artificial nail policy and radiation badge usage

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging
Knowledge of radiation safety practices and ALARA principles
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to adapt to different equipment and protocols
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
