Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse Med/Surg population including CHF, pneumonia, COPD, post-surgical patients, and more
Monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Titrate drips such as Heparin and Bumex as needed, with an emphasis on safety and precision
Assist with telemetry monitoring and coordinate care between departments
Float as a helping hand to other units when fully cross-trained, supporting the entire hospital team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Oregon (or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license before start)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience
Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in general medical-surgical nursing, including care for post-operative and chronic conditions
Comfortable with telemetry, CPAP/BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Pediatric experience a plus but not required
