Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to maintain oral health
Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition for healthy smiles
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Assist dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort
Maintain clean and sterile clinical environment following infection control protocols
Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in New York State
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with dental software preferred

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of dental anatomy and periodontics
Proficient in dental hygiene instrumentation and techniques
Knowledge of infection control standards and OSHA regulations
Skilled in patient education and motivation
Attention to detail and manual dexterity
