Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates across inpatient and ER settings
Manage ventilators and high-flow oxygen therapy using Hamilton and Vapotherm equipment
Perform arterial blood gases and EKGs to support accurate patient assessment
Assist with intubations and deliver life-saving interventions in critical moments
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential
Kansas state license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Comfortable working independently as the sole RT on shift

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and troubleshooting
Patient assessment across all age groups
ABG interpretation and EKG performance
Hamilton ventilator and Vapotherm systems
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
