Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans using state-of-the-art Philips IQon Spectral CT and Big Bore 16 systems
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment across the ER, OR, and inpatient/outpatient settings
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures while adapting to varying patient conditions
• Operate C-arm equipment in the OR for surgical imaging support
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow protocols for imaging and documentation
• Assist radiologists with special procedures and provide excellent patient care

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of CT experience required; first-time travelers welcome to apply
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• California Fluoroscopy permit required
• Experience with Cerner EMR and Philips CT equipment is a plus
• Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
• Must be a self-starter ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT imaging techniques and radiation safety
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology for accurate image acquisition
• Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability to work in various clinical areas including trauma and OR
• Familiarity with Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 scanners
