Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (rotating), every other weekend, every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse, leading the care team and ensuring smooth operations
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
Assess and document residents' conditions, coordinating with healthcare providers
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting
Collaborate with CNAs and other staff to maintain a positive environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently as charge nurse

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in long-term care and geriatric nursing
Proficiency with Matrix EMR
Knowledge of wound care and medication administration
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
