Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures with precision and care
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
Operate Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs (training provided if needed)
Ensure patient safety and radiation protection protocols are followed
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver accurate diagnostic results
Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation

Qualifications

Active BLS certification (required)
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification (required)
PET experience is a must
DOT certification preferred (required within 90 days for contract extension)
Valid driver's license (required for submittal and radius rule verification)
Ability to travel 50+ miles from home (radius rule applies)

Education

Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in nuclear medicine imaging and radiopharmaceutical handling
Proficiency with Siemens PET/CT and nuclear medicine equipment (willing to train)
Strong patient care and communication skills
Attention to detail in documentation and safety protocols
Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Ability to adapt to new technology and procedures
