Shift Type: Varied shifts: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends every other

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with CHF, diabetic complications, pneumonia, COPD, and post-surgical conditions
Monitor and titrate drips such as Heparin and Bumex as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Assist with floating to other units as a 'helping hand' when cross-trained
Maintain accurate telemetry monitoring in collaboration with CCU staff
Deliver compassionate care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric cases

Qualifications

Current Oregon RN license or ability to obtain OR 90-Day Emergency License
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
Experience with general medical-surgical patients and post-operative care

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in managing common diagnoses: CHF, COPD, pneumonia, diabetic wounds, hip fractures, and post-surgical patients
Ability to titrate drips and interpret telemetry strips
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient assignments and census
Basic understanding of pediatric nursing
