Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the nursing team as charge nurse, ensuring smooth daily operations
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
Provide compassionate care to residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs
Maintain accurate documentation in the Matrix EMR system

Qualifications

Current BLS certification (required)
Prior experience in Long Term Care (LTC) nursing
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of LTC regulations and best practices
Proficiency in medication administration and wound care
Ability to manage a 1:10 (days) or 1:19 (nights) nurse-to-resident ratio
Familiarity with electronic medical records (Matrix preferred)
