Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients and their families
Monitor fetal heart rates using OB Trace Vue and manage high-risk situations
Administer and titrate medications such as Magnesium, Oxytocin, and pain management drugs
Assist with deliveries and provide immediate newborn care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Float to MSP/ED as needed for helping hands and 1:1 patient sitting

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP or Labor and Delivery experience
Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting with limited resources

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating IV drips (Magnesium, Oxytocin, etc.)
Strong fetal monitoring skills following AWHONN guidelines
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with neonatal respiratory equipment (CPAP, Bipap, high flow)
